Powering an IPO with Creative Video Production

Challenge
Velo3D, a global leader in advanced metal 3D printing solutions, planned to raise awareness and strengthen credibility of its end-to-end additive manufacturing solution ahead of its initial public offering. The brand needed a turn-key video and content partner that could operate as an extension of its internal marketing team.
Action
To raise awareness among key target personas, N6A’s sister marketing agency, Studios, developed an ongoing LinkedIn Live series titled 3Din30. Studios supported all aspects of initial production, including platform setup, testing, visual design, promotion, and day-of production.
To support the IPO launch, Studios created a suite of brand-building video assets, including a manifesto video that communicated Velo3D’s mission to potential investors, a case study illustrating the company’s process and effectiveness, and even the company banner hung from the New York Stock Exchange on launch day.
Outcome
During the first three episodes of the 3Din30 series—which continues to run to this day—the Velo3D page grew its follower base by 10 percent and tallied more than 3,500 video views. With the support of video assets and NYSE branding materials, Velo3D successfully launched its IPO in September 2021.
